First and foremost: our new 7" is out now via Replenish Records! you can purchase the album here and stream it for free here. 500 pressed, 250 on black, 250 on clear. Artwork courtesy of Allplaguednow. We're incredibly happy with how the record has turned and are sure that you'll be as well. Currently Joe Y. is on tour in Europe with Masakari and the rest of us are stateside writing material for a forthcoming split 7" (more on that TBA) and a full length LP. Once Joe Y. returns home we plan on doing some out of town shows. We have one Cleveland show lined up on August 11th with Before the Eyewall, Neon Warship, and Rhomer at Now That's Class. That will likely be our last Cleveland show for a while, so if you're in Cleveland, you better make it out! We'll be adding new merch to our store soon as well. Stay Tuned!

New EP

Later this spring, The upcoming Little Sister 7” EP will be released in the US by Replenish Records. We are beyond excited about this! Replenish Records is home to such awesome bands as Vestiges, Caulfield, Rituals, Masakari, Tempest, and more. Needless to say it’s an honor to be a part of a label roster filled with bands we have immense respect for!

We are planning a UK/European release via the awesome and mighty Witch Hunter Records with a tentative release slated for early summer.

Stay tuned for more information.

2.25.2012

Our singer Patrik is moving to North Carolina in April to become tattoo artist extraordinaire, and as a result he isn’t able to commit the time necessary for Little Sister, so our show on March 31st at The Saw in Cleveland (Parma to be specific, I guess) is our last show with Patrik as our vocalist. There’s no ill will or anything. We’ve known about him moving for a while and we’re stoked for him. It’s a great opportunity for him that he obviously cannot pass up and we wish him the best!

That said, we are NOT breaking up. We are already in the process of finding a new vocalist, and in the meantime we’re staying very much active (we’ve already written 3 songs and are finishing a 4th.) while working on getting our next EP mastered and then released. It will be a 4 song 7”. More Details will be posted soon.

If you’re in the area, please come out to our last two shows with Patrik and rage with us. It’s going to be a fun send off!

March 16th - at Now That’s Class - Little Sister, Recreant (FL Crust/HC), Ava Archer, Vince Roy.

March 31st - at The Saw (Formely the Hive/Jigsaw) - Little Sister, Signal 30, and 1 other TBA.

Update, Mailorder, Etc.

If you still haven't yet, you can still download Repercussions for free using any of the links we've posted in our last blog post. Feel free to do so, and then if you dig it and can spare some cash, feel free to order a tape! This leads us to the next bit of news...

If you're in the UK/Europe, we now have distribution for our tape in those areas thanks to the mighty and awesome Witch Hunter Records. Not only are they providing distribution of our tape, but their label roster is pretty killer, so while you order our tape, pick up some releases from them too! On top of being able to order plenty of killer music, you can now avoid paying an arm and a leg for slow shipping from us in the US!

On the subject of slow things: we are slowly working our way through demoing new material. we have 5 songs partially recorded. We're laying this stuff down prior to recording final versions of it for EP #2. Chances are this stuff won't make it's way to being available freely (or retail either), but there's always a possibility we might post a song or two from the sessions. We're writing some of our best material yet, and we can't wait to go back to Mars Studio and lay down the final versions.

We're laying relatively low lately this summer. Maybe a few shows here and there, but with the summer being occupied with one of us getting married in July and Masakari touring with Alpinist in August, we'll be pretty tied up in the summer. We're going to do the best we can to play a few gigs here and there, and then in the fall likely kick things back into gear. Stay tuned...

Present + Future + Download

Present:

We've been getting some good feedback on our tape, lately, and we're flattered and excited that people are liking what we do. If you're new to the game, here's some words of interest you should read:

Feel free to read the words and download the tape. If you like what we do and want to buy a tape or a shirt, we encourage you to do so: http://tapehaus.bigcartel.com and we also encourage you to share these links with your friends, of course. Spread the word!

Future:

On March 30th we are playing a show in Cleveland at Now That's Class alongside The Funeral Pyre, The Secret, Masakari, and Old Accusers. It's going to be a great time, so if you're in the area, come out!

After that, in April we plan on recording some demos of new material we have written. The new songs are rippers and we can't wait for people to hear them.

If anything else pops up, we'll be posting it here and to our facebook page!

Future Fonts

Peace to all,

Two shows coming up in the very near future, Jan. 22 at Tower 2012 and Feb. 11 at The Beachland. Both shows are for charity, and both are causes extremly close to my heart, get all the details here: http://www.facebook.com/idolstodust

The cassette tape release of our ep 'Repercussions' is being put out by the good people at Tape Haus and Big Purple Records. It comes with a digital download for all of you who don't know that dead formats are alive and well. It will be available at all of our shows, your local record store, or online from either Tape Haus (http://tapehaus.blogspot.com) or Big Purple Records (http://www.bigpurplerecords.com). And while you're there check out the other bands on both of these lables, support DIY punk!

It looks like we are going to be recording this spring, so keep your ear to the ground for that noise. East Coast/Canada tour this spring? You tell me. I'm going to ride a sabertooth when we get to Canada (I had better be able to ride one, my passport just cost me $150, not psyched.)
